Title: Machinery Consultant / Project Manager

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity with excellent earnings potential for an experienced Industrial Insurance Loss Machinery Consultant.  Our company, located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, is seeking an experience individual, with previous exposure to a variety of industrial equipment such as commercial web presses, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, converting presses and other industrial equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Reporting on Industrial insurance losses related to production facilities.

- Monitor and report to the adjusters progress against the assignment.

- Manage contractors to ensure that the contracted assignment is being properly managed.

- Complete assignments within the time framework, while maintaining focus on quality and cost.

- Oversees preparation of invoicing, and authorizes payments for major buys to material suppliers and subcontractors.

- Serves as focal point for all communications between the Adjuster and our company.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

- Engineering or Manufacturing background with exposure to various manufacturing processes and a variety of industrial machinery such as printing presses, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, etc. is ideal.

- Must have the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.

- Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple assignments and priorities.

- Experience in the overall planning, coordination, resource management and status reporting for assignment activities.

- Experience of project management for major and complex assignments.

- Effective computer skills including Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.

- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Title: Electrical Engineer

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity with excellent earnings potential for an experienced electrical engineer. This position offers the opportunity to hone your skills working with motion control technology, PLC programing, system design engineering and complete control platforms for our projects. In addition, this person will need 5 or more years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of commercial web presses, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, converting presses and industrial equipment.

This is high level, non-exempt position; therefore, the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to organize tasks and complete assignments with little supervision.

In this position, you will develop project work scope, budgets and schedules; help train and develop lower grade engineers; lead the electrical engineering effort on multiple projects simultaneously, including supervising and managing staffing levels and project task allocations. Some travel is required for this position.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university or technical institution.

- Positive, self-motivated individual eager to learn and grow in a team atmosphere.

- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with operations.

- Technical knowledge of commercial web presses, packaging equipment, and material handling equipment, in a wide variety of industries.

- The ability to develop project work scope, budgets and schedules and project task allocations.

- Programming Languages & Tools:- PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Bosch Rexroth), Visual Basic, C, C++, Excel Macro, PHP, SQL, PIC Assembly Programming, MATLAB, NI LabView.  Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Voltmeter, and Signal Converter.

- Industrial Controls, Motors, Sensors, Safety Products.

- Travel as required.

Title: Mechanical Engineer

Graphic Innovators is an industry leader in the sale and remanufacturing of quality pre-owned web presses and auxiliary equipment, as well as new printing equipment. We have an immediate opening in our Elk Grove facility for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in a manufacturing/machine shop environment.

This is a full-time, salaried position which reports to the VP of Manufacturing and is a hands-on role requiring a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with three to five years related work experience. The successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, yet work cooperatively with others.  He/she must also have excellent planning, organizational, and follow up skills.

Requirements

- Conceptualize projects and execute engineering for the mechanical and electrical component design, layout, modeling and drafting, of new and existing products using auto cad.

- Establish processes and select equipment to satisfy client requirements in competitive bidding environments with his/her ultimate focus on the overall profitability of the company.

- Prepare plans, elevations, and sections to represent the mechanical and electrical design layouts from sketches or specifications using appropriate terms, procedures, and drafting standards.

- Work closely with the purchasing, suppliers, and other team members to improve quality and reduce costs.

- Organize and manage projects, and coordinate multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

- Prepare equipment list.

- May require travel to job sites.

- Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year selling tangible products
